The benefits of Fire alarm maintenance

As the responsible person for your premises it is a requirement your fire alarm system is tested weekly and is regularly maintained by a competent person. Falcon hold BAFE SP203-1 accreditation. This means we are audited twice annually to ensure we are always up to date with the ever evolving requirements of BS5839:1.

Our fire alarm maintenance services can be carried out 6 monthly, or quarterly. As a fire and security integrations specialist we ensure your fire alarm links with your security or access control systems. Where needed we work alongside your other appointed system specialists. This ensures any triggers to shutters, gas or electrical switches, lifts, sprinklers and other integrated systems are fully operational when the fire alarm requires it. Crucially, this also means that your entire life safety system remains fully operational at all times.

Falcon have years of experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems to BS5839:1, including both wired and wireless fire alarms. We hold BAFE accreditation so you can be confident all works comply to the latest standards. Where relevant we work alongside other accredited organisations. This includes for Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) so you, as the premises responsible person, always know you have fulfilled your responsibilities. Most crucially you put the safety of your assets and people first.

We takeover the maintenance on any open protocol fire and life safety system so we are relied upon for all manner of small works, remedial repair works, or addition and fire system expansion works. Falcon always look for opportunities to add value to our clients. We not only test and service your life safety systems. We can also train your team members on their obligations, how to perform weekly tests, and what to do if the fire alarm activates.
