Pro-active system health checks
The importance of a maintenance plan to prolong the working lifespan of your system is well understood. For over 30 years Falcon have been offering maintenance agreements to homes and businesses throughout Buckinghamshire and surrounding counties, with one, two (or more) scheduled visits per year. But what happens if there is a fault in between those visits? Well… if your alarm or CCTV system is monitored by our alarm receiving centre (ARC) then, if a fault develops with that particular system, the ARC will notify you and our technical team – as well of course of monitoring for break ins and activations.
If however your alarm or CCTV system is not monitored – what then? Using your smart alarm or connected CCTV system, our software allows us to run regular, automated system health checks. A remote maintenance if you will, and for fractions of the cost of a visit to site. From low battery warnings, to cameras disconnecting; from signal issues to hard drives beginning to over-heat we will be monitoring the health of your system. This means that we will know when and if problems develop between scheduled visits, and can often fix these from our office; enabling your security system to be fully functional with minimal downtime or disruption.
Remote support, system alterations and alert settings
Whilst remaining a closed and secure system on your premises, if your smart alarm or CCTV system is linked back to our servers then we are able to provide all sorts of additional support to help you get the most out of your system. From removing user codes and passwords if people leave in a hurry, to altering CCTV alert settings if they are too sensitive and you are getting too many intrusion or motion alerts; from re-configuring areas of your alarm to allow for pets or visitors at home, or sub tenants in your business, and restricting certain users access to certain cameras. Our technical team are on hand to ensure your security systems are being used to their potential.
